He will be lovingly missed by parents Tracey Sterken and Tadd Elzinga; stepfather, Dan Sterken; siblings Savanna Elzinga and Jordan Sterken; grandparents Gary and Penny Wyn, Mary Elzinga, and Norman and Leona Sterken; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Joshua was preceded in death by his grandfather, Harold Elzinga.
Joshua was a dedicated person in everything he did in life. Whether it was playing sports, pouring cement, or just playing pick-up ball, he worked his hardest. He was the light of every room he walked into with his infectious smile and contagious humor. He was a genuine person and always looked out for those who were close to him.
A celebration of Joshua’s life will be planned for later this year.
In honor of Joshua and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services. www.pinerest.com.
