Jason Hassevoort, age 43, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. He is survived by his father, Jack (Diane) Hassevoort; mother, Barb Hassevoort; brother, Eric Hassevoort; sister, Jodi Wolters; grandpa, Neil Baas; nephews Braylon Hassevoort, Drew Hassevoort, Jaxon Wolters; niece, Kailyn Wolters; and many friends.
Jason was an amazing uncle who never missed a birthday. He was a Peyton Manning and Colts football fan, along with a big fan of the Detroit Tigers and Pistons. He had an unforgettable laugh and a contagious smile. His heart was larger than life and was always willing to help anyone in need, but we all knew not to call if we needed anything fixed. Jason will be remembered by many friends, many of whom he made throughout his bartending years.
Visitation will be held from 1 - 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, Michigan. In lieu of flowers and in memory of Jason, memorial contributions may be made to the PeyBack Foundation, a non-profit organization established by Peyton and Ashley Manning that provides growth opportunities for children at risk.
