She joins her husband Armin and sisters, Remalda, Hilda, Viola, and Elsie in heaven.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter Carol Jim Kroon; her grandsons, Kevin Gina Kroon, Jason Kroon and special friend Loan Huynh, Matt Kroon and fiancAC.e Jessica Snell, and great-grandson Quinn Armin Kroon. Eleanor is also survived by sister Alvina Joe Tomczik; brother Melvin Gottschalk; sisters-in-law, Ruth Fish, Elsie Blumenthal, Dorothy Bob Grunow, and Marion Norm Minda; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at the Cook Memorial Chapel 4235 Prairie St SW - east building with Pastor Darryl Andrzejewski of New Hope Lutheran Church and Pastor Walter Roberts of Holy Cross Lutheran church officiating.

The family will meet with relatives and friends on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville - west building, and one hour prior to the service in the east building.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Unit of Holland Home - Breton Manor or to New Hope Lutheran Church 3232 Port Sheldon Rd, Hudsonville.
