Edward James De Koster

DE KOSTER- Edward James De Koster, age 93, of Grandville, went to be with his Lord, Sunday, April 12, 2015. The son of Adolf and Alyda De Koster, Edward was born January 26, 1922 in Zeeland, MI. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen and his sisters Julia Nyenhuis and Josephine Meiste.

He is survived by his children, Elaine (Michael) Ogden, Jan Wilson, Carol (Scott) Capes, Marilyn (Richard) Chapel, Thomas De Koster, Diane De Koster, Robert De Koster, James De Koster; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and sisters Hazel Coy and Eileen Kuipers.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Ray Paget officiating at the Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville (East Building) with a visiting hour for family and friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday. Interment will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, Kentwood.
