Cynthia J. Walma

Cindy Walma, age 70, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, November 13, 2023. She is survived by her husband, Tim Walma; children Danielle (Tom) Veele, Michael (Anita) Walma, Kevin (Amanda) Walma, Aaron Walma, and Ben (Katie) Walma; grandchildren Oakland, Ian, Arielle, Isaac, Sophia, Elliot, Braylon, Greenlee, Andrew, Sam, Liam, and Lily; brother, Ron (Linda) Kalsbeck; sister, Mary Kalsbeck; stepmom, Hendrene Kalsbeck; stepsiblings Deb, Joyce, DeAnn, and Darryl; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Cindy had a love for her husband, Tim, and made his life spectacular. She was dedicated to her faith and committed to teaching her children about the love of God. She loved adventures, traveling, and spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She spent her time planning epic vacations that involved hiking to waterfalls, wilderness trails, and visiting national parks. She loved making quilts for loved ones, special occasions, and for blessing others. Cindy put others before herself and was a rock for her family.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418, with visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to service. In honor of Cindy and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to ResLife Church House of Hope.
