

KOOISTRA, Chris Kooistra, age 81 of Jenison, went home in victory to be with his faithful Lord and Savior. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rena, his infant daughter Jacqueline and brother, Henry Kooistra. He is survived by his children, Joyce Doug Marcus of Prinsburg, MN, Ken Dee Kooistra of Byron Center, Darlene Curt Ritsema of Grand Rapids, Mark Cindy Kooistra of Byron Center; 11 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; his brother Jerry Lavon Kooistra of Wyoming, sister Joann Kooistra of Grandville, sister-in-law Jane Kooistra of Jenison, sister-in-law Lucille Mellema of Jenison; and several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Faith Hospice for their loving care and support. A Memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Monday at the Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie St. SW, east building. The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville west building.
