Charles “David” Richardson, age 90, went to be with his Lord Jesus Sunday, September 18, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Richardson; son, David Richardson; 12 siblings. He is survived by son, Daniel (Patricia) Richardson; grandchildren Alissa and William; siblings Guy Richardson, Nina Ogle Derby, and Paul Richardson; extended family and many friends.
David was a Korean Conflict veteran. He retired from Ohio Steel Tube in Shelby, OH after 25 years there. David started working at age 13 and held many jobs supporting his family. David was a loving father and grandfather, a good friend, and a man of strong faith. He was a hard-working man who also found time for gardening. He was loved and will be missed by many.
Interment will take place 10 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg, VA. In honor of David, and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association.
