Brian Jay Elzinga

In February 1959, Brian was born in Holland, Michigan. He graduated from Covenant Christian High School and pursued an over 40-year career as a tool and die maker. He was a loving husband of 27 years to wife Bonnie Elzinga. Brian was an outdoor enthusiast and an avid fisherman and hunter.

He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Elzinga; brother-in-law, Bob Koerner; nephew, Michael Elzinga. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Elzinga; daughter, Erica (Ryan) Wobma; mother, Ruth Elzinga; siblings Sally (Cal) Jongsma (Sonya, Jonathon, Jeremy), Karen Koerner (Kara, Robin, Luanne, Dan, Becca), Kel (Beth) Elzinga (Heather, Jamie, David), and Doug (Kim) Elzinga (Jodi, Haley); as well as an unborn grandson.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418, with visitation from 1:00-1:45 p.m. prior to service.
