Bonnie Patricia Rodgers (Braun), age 73, went home to be with her Lord and Savior unexpectedly Saturday, August 14, 2021. She is survived by her two loving daughters Lisa (Bob) Mourer and Lori (Keith) Bishop; six grandchildren Chris Mourer, Courtney Mourer, Jon Mulero, Ella Bishop, Logan Bishop, Daylin Bishop; two great-grandchildren Noah Harder and Hayden Mourer; brother, Wayne Braun; and two sisters Donna Kukla and Rosa Kotecki. She was preceded in death by her parents Al and Hulda Braun; brothers John Braun, Gerald Braun, and Marlow Braun; and sister, Patsy Braun.
Bonnie had an amazing love for the Lord. She also loved spending time with her church, family, traveling, bonfires, and shopping. She had a heart made of gold and was selfless. Bonnie had a wonderful sense of humor and will be dearly missed by many.
Visitation with friends and relatives will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. A Celebration of Bonnie’s Life will take place 11 a.m. Friday, August 20, 2021 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building). In honor of Bonnie and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Dementia Society of America.
