Bonnie Jean Crawford

Bonnie Jean Crawford, age 92, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, November 8, 2023. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Willis; daughter, Diane Bennett; and parents Louis and Irene Postema. She will be remembered by her children Mary Ann Lotz, Don (Sue) Crawford, Rose (Rick) Chandler, Bill (Shelly) Crawford, Harvey (Pat) Crawford, Michael (Chas) Crawford, and Christine Crawford; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Bonnie enjoyed going out for coffee with her family and friends. One of her very favorite restaurants was Cracker Barrel. For many years she loved anything Elvis and visited Graceland, which was a highlight for her. She was scolded by security for taking pictures inside of the Graceland mansion, but she didn’t care. She told us about six years ago that she was never on Mackinac Island. So we made a couple of trips to the island with her and stayed in a Victorian style cottage right on Main Street and she loved watching from the porch, the bicycles, horse and buggies going by. In her younger days, she took many ocean cruises with her husband.

A celebration of Bonnie’s life will commence 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2023, with visitation one hour prior, at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. In honor of Bonnie and in lieu of flowers, contributions to the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance may be made to TSC Alliance, 8737 Colesville Rd., Suite 400, Silver Springs, MD 20910.
