Betty Jean Rector

Betty was born on November 6, 1927 in Grand Rapids, Michigan but was raised in Hart, Michigan by her parents Delmar and Violet (Shafer) English. She graduated from Hart High School in 1945.

She is preceded in death by Burt (Nina) Williamson; her parents Delmar and Violet English; her sisters Doris (Bill) Brydon and Carol Hollister.

Betty is survived by her daughters Midge Taylor, Marie Williamson and Becky Berens; her brother and sisters Don (Kathleen) English, Margie Peterson, Anne (Ed) Stark and Vera (Vic) Murphy; her four grandchildren Tammy (Steve) Fischer, Eric (Shelia) Taylor, Michael Berens and Michelle (Jeremy) Kayser; and her seven great-grandchildren; Megan, Zachery and Alex Fischer, Jonathan and Ashley Taylor and Stark and Leon Kayser.

A private memorial service was held at Cook Funeral Home as well as a private graveside burial service at Hart Cemetery for family members only.
