Betty Jean Hubbard

Betty Hubbard, age 93, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, June 16, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hubbard; parents Harvey and Maxine Hotchkiss; and sisters Francis Roodvoets, Eleanor Brown, and Lois Lilly.

She will be lovingly missed by her nephew and niece Darrell and Joan Williamson, along with their children Brenda Jackson, Carrie (Dale) Krueger, and David (Kristy) Williamson.

Betty worked at Wurzburg’s Department Store as an elevator operator for over 17 years. She then worked at the Suburban 5 and 10 in Wyoming for 34 years. Betty loved her music. She played keyboard often at her church and was a member of the Sweet Adelines Choir of Grand Rapids. Betty had a beautiful voice and sang at many events.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 23 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville MI, 49418, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Rest Lawn Memorial Park in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
