Prayers as your mourn the loss of sweet Amber.

I worked with Amber at South Christian High School.  She was almost always in a good mood and she was a blessing to students and staff.  The world was a better place because of her presence.  She will be missed.

I had the pleasure of coaching Amber when she was a member of the freshman girls basketball team at Calvin Christian. What an absolute joy to have on my team! Amber was the kind of kid who just loved being part of the team. She had a way of always making things fun & she was a bit of a goofball :)  It didn’t matter how many minutes she played or how many points she scored. She still came to practice every day ready to work hard & she pushed her teammates to be better. She accepted her role on the team with the biggest smile you’ve ever seen. I’ll always remember that smile, her giggle & her love of life! I take comfort knowing that she’s in the arms of Jesus. Lifting her dear family & friends up in prayer every day. 

Knowing Amber is something for which I'll always be grateful. High school, youth group, mission trips were always so much more fun when she was there. This loss is a heavy one. She will never, ever, ever be forgotten. I feel extremely lucky to have known her. And I will never forget that laugh.

Amber was my Spanish teacher through most of high school. She had a connection with her students that most teachers don't. I'll be forever grateful for the knowledge, guidance, laughter, and grace that were found in her classroom. Rest in Peace Profe-I'm  sorry you were taken from this earth so soon. 

Amber was such a sweet girl. I met her in the neighborhood shortly after moving in, while I was walking our Husky puppy. She stopped, got out of her car, and walked over to say hi and meet us and Pasha. She was so nice, always smiling, happy to talk. Everytime I saw her it was like she always had carried with her a bright shining star of happiness. I am absolutely shocked about all of this, my condolences go out the family, I can not even imagine what you all are going through right now. My prayers are with you all, especially for the sweet little ones. I have 2 littles myself, and I can't even begin to imagine what they feel right now. I hope peace will come swiftly to you all. 

I'm so sorry, Profe. You deserved life. Rest peacefully and may God be comforting you in heaven and your family on earth.

There’s lots of good teachers out there, but only some can go above and beyond. I had Amber as my Sophomore Spanish teacher and interacting with her was more that a student-teacher relationship, it felt like one of friends. She was someone I could banter or joke with without fear which made her class feel so relaxing. Her death is truly a great loss from this Earth and I pray she’s living a much better life in Heaven.

I am so very sorry for your loss! I have fond memories of lovely Amber during her high school years at  Calvin Christian,  and then again at Hillside Church.

I still have in my childhood memory box an apology note from Amber for putting poster putty in my hair when she sat behind me in our third grade class at WSCS.  Amber, Deanne Kreuze,  Jenny Helmus, and I had so much fun playing on our 3-on-3 basketball team the Shockers together and winning a few tournaments in middle school. I won’t ever forget her signature laugh and general exuberance for life.

Mrs. G was my high school Spanish teacher. I sucked at Spanish but she was always patient. I enjoyed having her as a teacher. Rest In Peace Profe.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was Amber's High School Spanish teacher at Calvin Christian. I will always remember Amber as an energetic, fun-loving student with a kind heart for helping those in need. I can still hear her laugh in my classroom! I also enjoyed getting to know her as an adult and staying in touch with her on social media and as a fellow language teacher. Praying for you all in the weeks and months to come, but rejoicing with you that she is in heaven.
