Kurt Anthony Gress passed away Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015 after a short illness. He was born February 27, 1964 to John and Nancy Gress. Kurt attended St. John Francis Regis School and Hickman Mills schools. He spent his whole working life in the restaurant industry as a Waiter, Bartender, Sous Chef, Manager and General Manager.
Kurt was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Gress Hall and step father, David Hall. He leaves memories with his father, John (Jack) Gress and step mother, Sheryl (Sherry) Gress and brothers, Karl Gress and J. Scott Eagan as well as nieces, Annie, Gillian and Ramona Gress and Samantha Eagan. He is remembered by his many friends.
Visitation will be 10-11 am, funeral Mass at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 15 at St. John Francis Regis Church, 8920 James A Reed Rd. KC MO. The Family suggests donations be made to St. Luke’s Hospice House in lieu of flowers.
