Eric Scott Schreiner

Born on January 8, 1979 in Onaga KS, he was the son of Kurtis SR and Debra Schreiner.

When Eric was young his family resided in Frankfort KS. The family moved to Hebron, NE were they stayed before moving to the KC area in summer of 1996. There Eric attended Hickman Mills High School.

Eric enjoyed being around his daughter, family and friends. He was a very laid back person. Eric enjoyed the outdoors building bon fires would take pics of how big the fire was. He liked to play his guitar. Since Eric was young he could draw. As a kid he would rather have drawn than do school work, what kid wouldn’t have. Eric was a funny guy. He liked to tell jokes and make people laugh.

Eric was working at sunshine tree service and he operated the picker. If it required a CDL he was up for the job.

Eric is survived by his daughter, McKenzie and Haley Schreiner, Grandview MO; parents, Debra (Craig Meade) Schreiner, Mayetta KS and Kurtis (Fran) Schreiner Sr, Topeka KS; 2 brother, Daniel Schreiner, Mayetta KS and Kurtis Jr Schreiner, Gladstone MO; two sisters, Crystal Stevenson, Kansas City KS and Amy Harper, Lawrence KS; 10 nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his niece Shea Schreiner, grandparents Orville and Shirley Schreiner, Donald and Kathryn McLaughlin, as well as great grandparents.

Visitation on September 4 for immediate family only. A Celebration of Life will be 1:00 pm September 8 at the Bandstand Pavilion in Swope Park, KC, MO.
