Christopher Michael Foster, age 38, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 12, 2021 in a tragic accident at Longview Lake. Chris was born on February 12, 1983 in Shawnee Mission, Kansas to Curtis D. and Anita J. Foster. Chris found the love of his life, Christine Kaber, at a young age and together they would go on to raise four amazing children and spend a life together full of love and happiness.
Chris graduated from Hughesville High School in 2001 and immediately joined the restaurant industry where he would find his love for food and serving others for the next 19 years. Chris then joined a local mechanical contractor in 2018 where he served as a pipefitter apprentice for the next two years and then ended up at the United States Post Office. Chris started with the Post Office in March of 2020 and would steady his career for the years to come.
Chris loved to spend time with his family grilling out, fishing, playing games on the TV, or a simple board game every chance he got. He loved to work on his truck and share his mechanical knowledge with his three sons. Chris made it a point in his life to keep his family first and everything else second.
Chris was predeceased by his grandparents Michael and Margaret Chiapetta of Kansas City and Calvin and Betty Foster of Grandview; his father Curtis D.
