V. Lorraine Walsh

V. Lorraine Walsh 100, of Rockford passed away on Sunday April 21, 2019. Born on December 7, 1918 in Muncie Indiana to Ray and Edith Whitenack. United in marriage to the late Joseph H. Walsh on May 21, 1938.

Survived by her children Patrick J. (Barbara) Walsh and Patricia “Nan” (Tom) Price, 7 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death parents, Ray and Edith, stepmother Ruby and husband of 56 years Joseph Walsh.

Lorraine worked at the Kent County TB Society for 20 years as a Public Relations Director. She was an avid gardener who loved her flowers. She was a quilter an oil painter and traveled all over the United States with her late husband Joe. She lived a full life and will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held at Reyers North Valley Chapel on Thursday April 25, 2019 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Rosary. Visitation will continue on Friday April 26, 2019 at St. Alphonsus Church 224 Carrier St. NR Grand Rapids, Michigan 49505 starting at 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at Mt.
