Timothy J. Tobin

Timothy John Tobin, age 54, of Grand Rapids, lost his one year battle with Leukemia on Friday, September 9, 2016. He was born on October 19, 1961 in Grand Rapids to his parents, Dennis and Judith Tobin. He is preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Mason.

Tim will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 27 years, Nancy; children, Ryan (Suzanne) Tobin, Brad (Crystal) Tobin, and Nicholas Tobin; grandchildren, Madison Tobin, Ryder Tobin, and Eva Tobin; sister, Denise (Kirk) Bajdek; brothers, Kevin Tobin and Thomas Tobin; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Tim was an avid outdoorsman and top-notch golfer. Tim’s greatest enjoyment was fishing for Walleye on the Saginaw Bay. He enjoyed his career at Tri-State Forest Products.

A time of visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 4:00 pm- 7:00 pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Saturday, September 17. 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1120 4 Mile Rd. NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525.
