Stephen Jay Linn Sr.

Stephen Jay Linn, Sr., age 64, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at The Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. Mr. Linn was a lifelong resident of the St. Joseph are and a graduate of Lakeshore High School. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served in Viet Nam. For many years Stephen was in broadcast industry and had his own show on WHFB/99.9 called Big Band Saturday Night.

Mr. Linn was preceded in death by his parents, Bandal and Winiford Linn; sister, Linda Priest, and brother, Ted Linn. Surviving are his children; Christina (Joey) Felan and Stephen (Karen) Linn, Jr. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at The Grand Rapids Home for Veterans, 3000 Monroe Ave. N.E. with Chaplain Robert Dennis officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of services at 1:00.
