Sally A. Arnold

Sally A. Arnold, age 80, was born on December 22, 1940 in Grand Rapids, MI. She passed away peacefully, with her husband by her side, on January 17, 2021 after many years of fighting hard and staying strong.

She was the beloved wife of Duke Russell Arnold Sr. for over 65 years. Sally is survived by her children, Sally Ann Daniels, Debra Seawald, Robert Arnold, Duke (Shawn) Arnold Jr., Tammy Fisk and her cherished 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Sally lived her life as a selfless person, always lending a hand and helping others first. For 38 years, Sally was a talented cook at various different restaurants, where others were able to reap the benefits of her cooking. She will be remembered by her family for having a heart of gold. She was a proud grandmother- she especially loved taking her grandkids to the casinos once they turned 21. In her spare time, Sally enjoyed planting and gardening, attending many Indian Pow Wow’s and spending time with her family.

She will be missed by many.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 21st from 7-9 PM at Reyers North Valley Chapel. Due to gathering restrictions, 25 people are allowed in the building at a time. Please remember to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Sally will be laid to rest at Rosedale Memorial Park on Friday, January 22nd at 12:30 PM.
