Ronald J. Webber

Ronald Jerome Webber, 78, of Wellston, Michigan passed peacefully on November 28, 2015. Ronald was preceded in death by his wife Colleen Webber and wife Barbara Webber. Ronald is survived by his daughter, Paula, and son-in-law Tim Crawford, son Daniel, and daughter-in-law Katie Webber, and son Phillip Webber; 4 grandchildren, Corey, (Maureen) Webber, Amanda, (Tyler) Bergstrom, Coleton Webber, Ericka Baer, and great grandchild Cassandra Webber; brother Larry, (Sandra), Webber, brother James, (Helen), Webber, and sister Mary Klein, (Denny) and many nieces and nephews. Ron was an educator in the field of science and mathematics in the Grand Rapids Public Schools and at Manistee Catholic Central. He left the field of education to pursue a dream with his wife Barbara, where they designed, built, owned and operated Fawn Crest Golf Course in Wellston, Michigan. Golf was a passion that Ron enjoyed throughout his life, with family, and his many friends. Ron additionally loved hunting and fishing, leaving many fond memories with those whom he shared these activities. Ron most loved the times shared with his family at many gatherings and friendly golfing competitions sharing much laughter together. A time of gathering will be held on Saturday December 5th 2015 at Reyers North Valley Chapel from 10:30am to 12 Noon. The Memorial Service will begin at 12 Noon, with Celebrant Harold DeMott officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that contributions be made in Ron’s memory to Mel Trotter Ministries, a Christian charity he supported.
