Richard Lee Brailey

Richard Lee Brailey aged 74, went home into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior on Friday, May 6, 2011 due to complications from a stroke. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Glen P. and Ruth Brailey, son-in-law James M. Cole and his beautiful granddaughter Lisa Brailey. He is survived by his wife Rose Ann, children; Christine Cole, Rick (Jill) Brailey, Gary (Lucy) Brailey, Julie (Martin) Carteng, sisters; Carol Magoon, Eleanor Stegehuis, Judy (Paul) Woody, step-sons Todd Faasse and Tim Faasse, 20 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, brother-in-law Maurice Gaubatz, sister-in-law Betty Conrad, cribbage friend Dr. Walt Boerman and his golf friend Coach Ron Bloom. Richard loved his family, his dog, football, golf and a good game of cribbage. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the Reyers North Valley Chapel 2815 Fuller Ave NE with Pastors Ryan Landt officiating. Friends and relatives may greet Richard’s family on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, American Stroke Association or Aberdeen Reformed Church.
