Phillip Lee Anderson

Phillip Lee Anderson, aged 77, of Grandville MI, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018. He was born in 1940, in Coquille, OR to the late Deuward and Shirley Anderson. Along with his parents, Phillip was preceded in death by his sister Sharilyn Cochran. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mae and their Daughters Sally (Alvin) Kawamura of Honolulu, HI and Gayle (Greg) Masck of Grand Rapids, MI; Grandchildren Sharon Mae Nishimura of Honolulu, HI, Ian Karambelas of Alameda, CA, Alexander (Natasha) Karambelas of Grand Rapids, MI and Aaron Kawamura of Honolulu, HI; Sisters, Marilyn Anderson (Sammy) Sampson of Scotts Valley, CA, Grace Anderson (Michael) McGee of Eugene, OR, Betty June Anderson Barton of Eugene, OR, Esther Anderson (Bob) Wade of Austin, TX and brother Dan Anderson of Austin, TX as well as four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Phil was a beloved member of Oakhill Church as a gifted teacher of the Word, Elder and beloved brother and friend. His passion for the Lord and his church will be sorely missed by his church family. Memorial services will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Oakhill Evangelical Presbyterian Church (1930 Leonard St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505).
