Patricia I. May, aged 88 of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully Friday, January 20, 2012. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sue May, and her former husband, Robert May, Sr. Surviving are her children, Candace and Harry Whitsell, Robert May, Jr., Kathy and Mike Dood, Darlene and Dale Wierzbicki. Her grandchildren, Scott, Melinda, Matt, Jody, Wendy, Brandon, Shane, and Kyle; 10 great grandchildren. Her sister, Evelyn Karl, nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. Relatives and friends may meet her family at the Reyers North Valley Chapel from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday January 24. For those who wish, memorials may be made to the Grand Rapids Home For Veterans.
