Patricia Ellen Hall, age 81, passed away on January 12, 2024. Pat was born in Grand Rapids on August 25, 1942 the fifth of fifteen children of Florian & Pauline (McPheter) Napieralski. Growing up in a large family, Pat became a natural care giver to her young siblings, a trait that lasted throughout her life.
On May 19, 1962, she was happily united in marriage to Fredrick Hall. The young couple would welcome three children into their family. Pat was a devoted wife and mother. She raised her family to have a strong personal faith, good work ethic and to take care of each other.
For over 20 years, Pat was the manager of Miracle Lanes where she ran a tight ship and was well respected by all of her employees. She led by example and was always willing to get her hands dirty to make sure the business ran smoothly. After retiring from the bowling alley, she finished her career working in customer service for Commercial Equipment Company.
Always known for being feisty and sassy, Pat enjoyed the fast paced excitement of playing bingo and hearing the cha-ching of the slot machines at the area casinos.
No matter the situation, Pat needed to care for others. Her incredible inner strength allowed her to fight numerous health problems over the years. Even as her body’s willingness to fight started to wane in her last few days, all she wanted to do was make sure everyone else was okay.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Mary, Dee, Chuck, Richard, Paul, Bob, John, Agnes and Flo.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Fred; her children: James (Jackie) Hall, Sandra (Andy) Vanderhoef and Kristina (Craig) Endres; her grandchildren: Amber (Hans) Stokstad, Coral (Jesse) Graves, Mark (Kristen) Edwards, Amanda (Paul) Squires, Ashley and Nicole Vanderhoef, Jeremy Endres, AJ Nozal and Steven (fiancée Ali Annable) Endres; 9 great-grandchildren and her siblings: Ray, Bill (Kim), Dan, Jerry (Denise) and Anne (Dennis) Karnik and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 27, 2024 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Leonard Street Banquet Facility.
