Patricia Jean Bott, 76, passed away Monday evening August 9th, after a courageous battle with an extended illness. She was born November 26th, 1933 in Big Rapids, MI and was the daughter of the late Lowell & Dorothy (Williams) Knapp. She had been the owner and operator of Silo Gopher Restaurant and Catering. She was the Co-Founder of Pere Marquette Oaks Condominium and RV Park. Patricia loved to travel. She attended Emmaus Road Bible Church in Allegan, and above all she loved her Lord Jesus Christ. She is survived by three children; Deborah (Rev. Dave) Nightingale-Allegan, Darcy (Dale) Crawford-Grand Rapids, and Jerry (Terri) Bott-Grand Rapids; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara (Ron) Lamb, and Janet Hockanson; a brother Keith Knapp; several nieces and nephews; and her dear friends, Ronald Helder and Jim Eaton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Bott in April, 2000. Funeral services will be held Friday August 13th at 11:00 a.m. at the Reyers North Valley Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Nightingale officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday, August 12th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., and one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
