Marjorie L. Pankey

Marjorie L. Denton Pankey, age 85, went on to Glory on February 4, 2015 while in the company of family. Marge was born in Missouri in 1929. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband of fifty-seven years, Robert Pankey. Surviving are her three daughters Marcia (John) Poole, Myrna (Gordon) Rivera and Marilu (Paul) Rosenboom as well as four grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Her relationship with God and her family were the most important things in her life. Marge was a woman who often unselfishly offered support to others. She was an enthusiastic fan of Gospel music and one of the “old time” members of Grand Rapids First Church. Following retirement, she and Robert relocated to Clearwater, Florida. A funeral service has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Reyers North Valley Chapel with family meeting with friends on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 6-8 pm for visitation. An additional hour of visitation scheduled for one our prior to the funeral service. Interment to follow at Lakeshore Cemetery in Grand Haven, MI. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
