Marcia spent the last of her working years at Rapistan Dematic where she began as a secretary, advancing her career to a Purchasing Manager. She was strong-willed, a hard worker and was always the one to give a helping hand to any in need.
Marcia loved to garden at “the lake” and her home, collecting the best rocks and picking the perfect bed of flowers. She especially enjoyed Hydrangeas and Daylilies. Marcia and her husband, Bill, spent lots of time fishing on Deep Lake and Crooked Lake. He is proud to say that she always out-fished him. Over the years family and friends enjoyed many fish fries from the abundance of their catches. She was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church, helping to direct their message of acceptance and volunteering to coordinate funeral luncheons.
Marcia had a big heart and will be remembered by all who knew her by her generosity and her caring nature; especially her sons and husband, whom she dedicated her life to.
Marcia is survived by her husband of 40 years, William Kozak; sons Joshua (Christine) Kozak and Adam (Kristi) Kozak; grandsons Braeden and Miles; mother Muriel VanVuuren; brothers Dwight VanVuuren and Kevin (Laura) VanVuuren. She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis VanVuuren.
Memorial Gathering will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1 at Reyers North Valley Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 2 at Faith Lutheran Church where the family will receive friends an hour prior. Pastor Kevin Sullivan will be officiating.
