“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Psalm 16:11 Be filled with love, positive energy, joy and gratitude.
Louis often thrived by the mantra of living life with fullness of joy. He would share with anyone how we often mistake happiness and joy as the same experience. Though similar, they have fundamental differences. Happiness is an emotion and emotions can be fleeting. The emotional reaction when we experience joy is inherently deeper, more lasting, leaving us in a state of peace. This joy comes from knowing our experience comes from God. When we can tap into seeing God’s provisions joy is sparked! Louis taught us that living your life in God’s presence brings about fullness of joy.
“I take a shower to wash the day away with confidence that God’s mercy is new every morning. You have to fight for your joy!”
