Lawrence M. “PeeWee” Johnson, age 91, passed away peacefully and was rejoined with the love of his life, Margaret on February 8, 2023. Larry & Margaret celebrated 67 years of marriage before she passed on November 25, 2020.
Besides his wife, Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Flay & Emma (Henry) Johnson, his siblings, Leland, Ervin, Lois, Myrna and Donna. He will be deeply missed by his children, Larry & Sharon Johnson and Cindy & Dave Galehan; his grandchildren: Katie (Laura), Kevin, Angela (Antonio), Brandon (Sara), Britten, Jinnie, Brennan, Stacy (Jason), Craig (Raphael), Corey (Lauren) and Jordan, and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
PeeWee enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing and sharing a good joke. He was a proud veteran of the Korean War. He dedicated his life to his family and was a devoted caregiver to Margaret for over 20 years.
A Celebration of Life for both, Larry & Margaret will be held on Saturday, February 18 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 pm. at Reyers North Valley Chapel. Immediately following at 4:00 p.m., Military Services will be rendered in honor of Larry’s time in the Air Force during the Korean War.
