Laura Lorraine Vandersloot, aged 85, passed away on February 4, 2015. Laura was born in 1929 to Daniel and Margaret Lecoy who precede her in death. Along with her parents, Laura was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Walter “Walt” Vandersloot Sr. and her sister Virginia Mull. Surviving are her three children Walter Jr. (Kathy), Glenn (Jeanne) and Patty (Dave) Tryc; grandchildren Erin (Phil) Lillibridge, Michael Vandersloot, David (Samantha) Vandersloot, Sarah (Justin) Anderson, Nicholas (Missy) Vandersloot, Jordan (RayAnn Andersen) and Linny (Jake) West as well as eight great grandchildren. Also surviving are Laura’s three sisters Audrey (Jim) Harrington, Margaret Gross and Betty Rinkus and many nieces and nephews. A short celebration of Laura’s life has been scheduled for Saturday February 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Reyers North Valley Chapel. Please join family prior to the service from 12:00 - 2:00 pm for time of visitation. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Spectrum Health Hospice or Crashes Landing.
