Larry Laverne Nelson

Larry was a 1962 graduate of Tustin High School. He worked for Michigan Bumper, Bauer Products, and Michigan Tag throughout his working career. He married his love, June Irene Stewart, in 1971 and the couple spent 52 wonderful years together. Larry was a social butterfly and loved meeting and talking to people. In his free time you could find him fishing, bowling, square dancing, knitting, calling bingo numbers, or playing shuffleboard. Larry was a kind, funny, jokester who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Larry was preceded in death by: parents, Lawrence and Doris Nelson; and son, John Lee Nelson.

Larry is survived by: wife, June Nelson; daughter, Sara (Robert R.) Beduhn; brother, Donald D. (Sherrie) Nelson; several brother and sister-in-laws; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Monday, March 11, 2024 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505.
