Katherine Kate L Keith

Keith (Kotowski) – Katherine Lillian, aged 93, of Grand Rapids, died peacefully on Sunday, July 9, 2017. She was born in the summer of 1923, in Charleston, WV, to Anthony and Elizabeth Harmon. Along with her parents, Katherine was preceded in death by her first husband, John Kotowski Jr; second husband Harold Keith; brother Roy Harmon and sister Cecilia Hascher. Kate is survived by her children, Nancy (Thomas) Kaplanowski, Ronald (Karen) Kotowski and Diane (William) Haddix; grandchildren Shelly (Pete) Torres & Kylie Torres, Sean (Kelly) Veilleux & family, Mark (Lulu) Veilleux & family, Christine (Christopher) Smith & family, Jesse (Erin) Kotowski & family, Eddie (Mariah) Haddix and Miranda Haddix; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, James Harmon and sister-in-law Shirley Harmon. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and will be remembered as a caring and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Friday, July 14, 2017 at St. Jude Catholic Church, (1120 Four Mile Rd. N.E., Grand Rapids, MI 49525). Visitation will be held at Reyers North Valley Chapel on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm with the Rosary being prayed at 7:30 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Catholic Church or to Crashs’ Landing, (1545 Diamond Ave. NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505).
