Karen Rae Alger, aged 71, passed away on Saturday December 6, 2014. She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Irene Alger and Aunt Nell Makarowitz. She is survived by her brother Dale (Mona) Alger of Texas, nieces and nephews Tara (Darren) Hardy, Marc (Eileen) Alger, and Wade (Diana) Alger; 7 great nieces and nephews; special cousins Denice (Bruce) Bunker and several other cousins. Karen proudly worked as a surgical assistant for Bob Kintz for 21 years and held her position at Oral Surgery Associates for 48 years. She was an avid volunteer, always assisting those in need. Karen was a former member of Aberdeen Reformed Church and was an active member of Hope Reformed Church as well. Please join Karen’s family in celebrating her life with visitation from 5-8pm on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Reyers North Valley Chapel. Additional visitation will be held from 10 -11am on Thursday, December 11, 2014 with the Funeral Service immediately following at 11am officiated by Pastor Peter TeWinkle.
