Judy was a 1971 graduate of Northview High School. In 1975 she married the love of her life, David King, and the couple spent 50 wonderful years together. She went on to work for the Ironwood golf course for over 27 years. In her younger years, Judy loved to be outdoors and play tennis. She had a passion for classic cars and shopping for antiques. There was never a flea market or antique shop that Judy wanted to pass up. She was a social butterfly, and the 'ringleader' of all social events. Judy had a strong faith, and was a parishioner of St. Jude Catholic Church for over 50 years. She was an adventurous, caring, inquisitive, and funny woman. Her loving nature and contagious smile will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Judy was preceded in death by; parents, Gerald and Dorothy; sister, Joan Townsend; parents-in-law, Russel and Maxine King; and brothers-in-law, Bill Cash, and Jim Oldfield.
Judy is survived by; husband, David King; siblings, Charleen Oldfeld, Gerri Cash, and Dennis (Chris) Green; many nieces and nephews; as well as, special friends, Lynn (Randy) Berry, and Sue (Randy) Razzoog.
A funeral service, officiated by Glenn Aittama, will be held on Wednesday, January 29th, 2025 at 11:00 am at Reyers North Valley Chapel. The family will welcome guests one hour prior to the start of the service. Judy will be laid to rest at Plainfield Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of West Michigan or Faith Hospice.
