Joyce L. Thompson, age 82, of Grandville, passed away on April 1, 2017. She was born in Grand Rapids the summer of 1934 to her parents, Virgil and Helen (Baxley) Thompson. She was one of twelve children in her family. She is survived by Don Thompson of Arizona and Valerie Brook of Grandville; 39 nieces and nephews; and her dear friend of 63 years, Marie Schipper.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Reyers North Valley Chapel. A time of visitation will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 11:00 am. Pastor Rick Pinckney officiating. Burial will be in Fairplains Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to: Back to God Hour of the Christian Reformed Church, Christian Reformed World Relief Committee of Grand Rapids, or Spectrum Health Hospice.
