On March 10, 2016, John Wesley McCoy Jr. passed away peacefully and went to be with his Lord. John will be dearly missed by his wife of 65 years Ava, as well as by his children Deborah Macaluso and Steven (Linda) McCoy, his grandchildren Nik (Alexis) Macaluso, Benjamin (Denya) Macaluso, Sarah Macaluso, Michael (Kerry) McCoy, Lisa (Jacob) Deno, and Stacy (Dillon) Prime, great-grandchildren Samuel, J.J., Jack, Indy, Gemma, and Ella. John will also be lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law Brenda Glasspoole (Bryan Craigmyle). He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. He will be remembered as a devoted and caring husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. A memorial service with military honors will be held at 11am on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at the Reyers North Valley Chapel.
