John Howard Cameron

John Howard Cameron died Wednesday April 7th, 2010 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus. He was born August 18th, 1942 in Grand Rapids. John was the son of the late Alvah Henry and Marie Esther (Carothers) Cameron. He retired from Amway Corporation. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling and watching sports. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed traveling. John proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Deanna Rae (DeHaan); four children, Dale, Kevin (Lori), Dawn (Chris), and DeeDee; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; two brothers Robert (Audrey) and Richard (Pat); several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be Tuesday April 13th at 11:00 a.m. at Reyers North Valley Chapel 2815 Fuller Avenue and Three Mile Road with Pastor Kelly Munger of New Hope Church of God officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday. The Kent County Honor Guard will conduct military honors.
