Jean was a quiet, kind and creative daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Anyone who had the opportunity to know her, knows how thoughtful she was.
Throughout her life she held different careers, but her most passionate one was teaching preschool children. It was there her creativity, caring spirit, and musical gifts were really able to shine.
Her family had the joy of receiving so many thoughtful gifts throughout the years; everything from homemade puppets, quiet books for the nieces & nephews, and ornaments for the trees. She truly had talent in creating things with her hands and her heart.
She loved traveling to Florida in the Winter, soaking up the sun any chance she could. She was an active member at her church where she held many roles. In addition she played flute, hand bells, and sang in the church choir.
The absence of her life has left a tremendous loss to her family and friends. She is preceded in death by: her father, Duke Weller; and brother, Gary Weller. She is survived by: her mother, Elsie Weller; sisters, Jana (Tom) Papke, Lori (Dan) Strickler, and Sharon Weller; her nieces and nephews, Jeffrey Papke and Julie Papke (Rob), Renee (Grant) Stalions, and Ken Strickler (Phoenix); and her great nephews and nieces, Colton, Carter and Mya Stalions, Landen and Nikolai Papke. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed by all.
