Jacqueline Jackie H. Cobb

Cobb, Jacqueline H. Aged 75, passed from her earthly life to her heavenly life to be home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, September 13, 2016. She was born in Detroit, MI in the summer of 1941 to Jack and Doris Evert. Along with her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by son Michael Lee Cobb. Surviving are her husband of 53 years Lee S. Cobb and their children Cynthia (Art) Weller and Mark (Jenni) Cobb. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren as well as her brother John (Carol) Evert and sister Elaine Easdon. Jackie enjoyed time spent with family and friends, especially attending the activities of her grandchildren. She and Lee enjoyed their travels abroad as well many vacation cruises. She will be remembered for her dedication to her career of many years as a nurse and her active church participation at Messiah Lutheran serving on the Alter Guild, Christmas Caroling to Shut Ins as well as helping with the church's participation in the Parade of Homes. Jackie was an avid and enthusiastic sports fan particularly fond of both the Detroit Red Wings and MSU Spartans. Please join the family for visitation Sunday September 18, 2016 from 2-5pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel. The funeral service will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church (2727 5 Mile Rd NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525) on Monday September 19, 2016 at 11am with an additional hour visitation prior.
