Howard Martin Jones, age 90, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024. He was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on November 16, 1933 to Howard Edward & Edith (Schaner) Jones. He lived most of his life in Michigan.
On June 3, 1961, he was united in marriage to his wife, Anne of 62 years who survives. In addition to his devoted wife, Howard is survived by his children: Marty & Alane Jones, Karen & Bryan Burgess, Linda & Tom Vanderson, and Kristine & Chad Boetsma; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; his brother Jim Jones and his sister Carol Lukas.
After proudly serving his country in the US Navy, Howard spent his career working for GM at Fisher Body #2. Howard was a man of faith, and enjoyed sharing the saving grace of Jesus with people. He had a great sense of humor, and loved to make people laugh. Most importantly, he was devoted to his family and shared a kindness with all who know him.
A funeral service for Howard will be held on Friday March 15, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the services.
