Elijah Benjamin Thomas

Elijah Benjamin Thomas, age 21, of Grandville, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 18, 2024. He was born on August 9, 2003 to parents, April and Alfonzo. Elijah was an up and coming boxer with a real drive for the sport. He was also enrolled in college and was studying to become an electrician. Elijah loved DC Comics and was a Batman fanatic. He also was very into anime and collecting swords. In his free time, Elijah enjoyed playing video games on his playstation 5. Elijah was a wonderful big brother to his siblings. He was very loving and giving. Elijah always put others before himself. He will be deeply missed by his family and close friends.

Elijah is survived by: mother, April Branch; father, Alfonzo Thomas; siblings, Angelina Branch, Dhani Mills, Keyila Mills, Hezekiah Mills, and Calianna Branch; grandmother, Pamela Branch; and special aunt, Crystal Davis.

A funeral service for Elijah will be held on Friday, September 6th at 1:00pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505. The family will begin welcoming guests at 12:00pm. Elijah will be laid to rest at Garfield Park Cemetery.
