Elaine R.C. Jones

Elaine Jones, aged 92, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015. Elaine is preceded by her first husband Herbert Hurd Canfield Sr., her second husband Robert Calvin Jones, brother Jack Russell, sister Martha Jane Bissell, and her Canadian companion Don Morlez. She is survived by her children Tom (Sue) Canfield, Melinda (Marshall) Simon, Gary (Sheila) Canfield-Jones, Don Jones, Herbert Hurd Canfield (Veronica) Jones, her 19 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, brother-in-law John Bissell and her companion Richard Gampert. Elaine will be remembered for her zest of life and her compassion. She had several hobbies including square-dancing, making her miniature furniture for her doll houses, and spending time at the family cabin in Canada. Elaine was passionate about life and loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Please join the family for a time of visitation on Monday, May 11, 2015 from 5 to 8pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 11am with an hour visitation prior from 10-11am.
