Donald L. Baker

Donald Lee Baker, age 64, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness. Don is survived by his wife of 35 years, Gail, his daughter Denise (Robert) Hazelrig, grandchild Hayden, brother Jim Baker, brother-in-law Gary (Roxanne) Nordstrom and mother and father-in-law Raymond (Dolores) Nordstrom. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Scott (Dawn) Baker, Chris (Melissa) Baker, Jenny (Eric) Pudelko, Alex, Andrew and Amy Nordstrom. Don is preceded in death by his parents Jack and Edythe Baker, his first wife Debbie Baker and his sister-in-law Karen Baker. Don was an avid fisher. When he wasn’t fishing or focused on his Harley Davidson motorcycle he was dedicating over 20 years of service to Grand Rapids Gravel. Don was a very caring man with an amazing wit about him as well as a great sense of humor. He also loved his two dogs, Violet and Brianna. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Reyers North Valley Chapel, with a time of visitation prior beginning at 11am.
