Daniel Frank Keil, aged 54, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2015. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI to Richard and Mary Keil in the summer of 1961. He is preceded in death by his father Richard, sister-in-law Michelle Marckini and nephew Brian Keil. Daniel will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 28 years Renee, mother Mary Keil, brothers Richard (Darlene) and Michael (Andria), a special Aunt and cousins, and nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his in-laws Sharon (Donald) Marckini and Albert (Kandy) Roemer, as well as his sisters-in-law Terri Roemer and Karla Page. After high school, Dan went on to become a welder as well as a supervisor at Northland Tool and Die, where he worked for over 14 years. He was an avid fan of ice fishing and mushroom hunting. Dan was also a member of the American Legion Boat and Canoe Club and a proud member of the Road Weasels Motorcycle Club. Please join the family for a time of visitation from 5-8pm on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Reyers North Valley Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. James Catholic Church (733 Bridge St NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504) on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 11:00 am with one hour of visitation prior.
