My heart goes out to Dalton's family and friends.   He was always kind and helpful and will be sadly missed.  May your loving memories bring you strength and comfort always. 

Condolences to the whole Mazie family . My thoughts and prayers go out to you. Dalton was a terrific friend to me. We grew up together from preschool. He always had a funny joke and would lighten up your mood. Although years have past since we had seen one another, when we did talk it was like old times. Rest easy old friend. You will be missed.

Dalton, my friend, my birthday buddy (10/10).  I have memories of playing on the same football, baseball and basketball team together. All of which you made so much more enjoyable with your laughter, hard work and great attitude. I remember carpooling to baseball games together, spending time with you fishing and skating during the summer at your cottage. Skipping school assemblies to go to McDonald’s. You had such a positive impact on everybody around you. Prayers to all your family and friends. 

May the love you had for life shine bright through all of us. While you were here, please know that you brought many laughs and created so many wonderful memories to your loved ones and friends.  It is these memories we shall cherish and gain strength from. We will continue to live each day, seek adventure, and concur challenges. 

I worked with Dalton at Stiles Machinery, and he was my go-to guy for helping me get parts out of the Hanel for inspections. He always helped, and always had a smile on his face. Was fun to see them joke around with one another and seemed to be a happy Dept. with him there. He will be missed and sad to see a hole where he once was. 

I had a handful of classes with Dalton throughout High School and he was undoubtedly one of the nicest people I've ever met. I specifically remember the times we had in woodshop class making skateboards (Pic I took on Feb. 22, 2012). Not a class went by where Dalton didn't make me or others laugh. Rest in peace my friend. 

Growing up in the old neighborhood, Whispering Pines, I had the absolute honor and privilege of knowing Dalton. He was a close friend of my brother and whenever I got to tag along, it was an absolute treat. To put it plain and simple, Dalton was the coolest guy around. He had such a vibrant personality and was so incredibly funny. Reading through the many testimonies of those who knew him, it's awesome to know that his ability to capture the hearts and admiration of those around him never wavered. I remember when Ashley and Stella and Dalton and me and my daughter was hanging out with a few others. He would play his guitar and Stella says I love when he sings and Ashley would just watch him and sometimes sings along. He was so goofy and loved by everyone. Rest up Dalton we will miss you. Until we meet again. 

Ken and Mary,  I pray that music will fill your souls as you find ways to fill that empty place where Dalton was residing here on earth. Dalton’s soul will rest knowing he had loving parents.

Guys,
I am so sorry to hear this news. I will be praying for the family through the next days/weeks/months as you mourn this loss. I often give Dalton much credit for the beginnings of the Gone Boarding program. He was part of our first ever class at FHE and helped paved the way for so many more kids to benefit from this type of education. I enjoyed all of the time we spent together when he was in high school and am very grateful for the memories. Thank you for the mark you made on everyone that had the privilege of knowing you, Dalton.

Mazie Family-  I am so sorry to hear of this loss!  I have such fond memories from when we were kids- living it up on Johnny Ford Lake!  We had so much fun swimming, fishing, catching turtles/minnows/frogs/ANYTHING we could get our hands on.  

Ken, Mary & Chad- I am thinking of you all during this excruciating time.  

We became brother's, You were there to help us be confident when timid, to be strong when weak, and to be fearless when scared. Your inspiration and memory will forever be in our hearts!!
