Curtis Lee Swanson

Curtis Lee Swanson, 59, passed away Wednesday evening. He was born April 13th 1950 in St. John’s MI. He was the son of the late Clair L. and Geraldine (Walker) Swanson. Curtis was systems programmer for 21 years with Meijer Inc. He enjoyed photography and being outdoors. His grandchildren where the love of his life and enjoyed them dearly. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Comstock Park. He was a wonderful and loving father and husband whom will be missed greatly. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Janet (VanAlstine) Swanson; two daughters, Kristen (John) Holmlund and Cassandra Mulder; his three precious grandchildren, Gabriel Swanson, Eric Holmlund, and Sydney Swanson; two sisters Kaye and Bonnie Swanson; one brother Gary Swanson; several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Service will be Sunday February 14th at 2:00 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church 582 Lambreaux Drive N.W. Comstock Park with Pastor Julie Schneider-Thomas officiating. Visitation will be from 1-3 & 5-7 p.m. Saturday at the church. Reyers North Valley Chapel 2815 Fuller Avenue and Three Mile Road is in charge of the services. Memorial contributions can be made to the Zion Lutheran Church or the United Way with envelopes available at the church.
