Clark “Boo” J. Allen aged 90, went to his heavenly home on December 17, 2014. He was born in Marshall, Michigan to Leon and Edna Allen. Clark was preceded in death by his parents, two of his children, Margaret “Maggie” and Charles “Red” as well as grandson Tell Allen. Surviving is his beloved wife Hazel and their children; Christina Holmquist, Jerry Allen, Phillip (Stephanie) Allen, Kenneth (Kathy) Allen and daughter-in-law Teresa Allen. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Clark was an active member of St. Jude Catholic Church, singing in the church choir, and the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and a retired truck driver for Yellow Freight. Following his retirement “Boo” was an enthusiastic greeter for Meijer’s on Alpine Ave. Please join the family in celebrating Clark’s life at a visitation scheduled for Sunday December 21, 2014 from 4-7pm with a 6:30pm Rosary at Reyers North Valley Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 11:00am at St. Jude Catholic Church (1120 4 Mile Rd NE) with an additional hour visitation prior. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial contribution in memory of Clark to Special Olympics.
