Christine L. Stark

Christine L. (Harig) Stark, passed away very unexpectedly Friday, January 6, 2012 surrounded by her entire family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marv and Dorothy Harig, grandchildren, Scott M. Allen and Faith U. Stark, her sister, Geraldine Durham, brothers, Marv, Vern, and Dale Harig. Surviving are the love of her life for 53 years, Terrance W. Stark; Her children, Dorothy and Ron Vance, Rodney and Eva Stark, Cindy and Jeff Potgeter; Grandchildren, Crystal, Leo, Kayla, Jacob, Jodie, Rodney, Justin, Brandon, Dennis, and Eric; Great grandchildren, Xavier, Maddison, Gregory, Liem, Zachary, Alexis, Todd, and Bella. Her sister, Charlene, brother, Rodger, sister-in-law, Norma, Brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Maxwell and Dorothy Stark, aunt Iva, uncle Red, many very special nieces, nephews, and friends. Christine had retired from Alofs Manufacturing after 31 years of service, she and her husband loved to travel, they spent their summers at the cottage, enjoyed fishing, mushrooming, and the two of them loved being in the outdoors together, and would occationally take a last minute late night trip to the casino, but most of all they spent countless hours with their entire family, and all of them were together for every holiday. She was known by her great grandchildren as "Grandma the great one." Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Reyers North Valley Chapel with her grandson, Rodney Stark, Jr. officiating. Interment in Blythefield Memory Gardens.
