Bruce P. Schawe,age 90,passed away peacefully,Thursday,October 24,2019. Surviving are his daughter,Deborah(Donald)Mallory; his step children Karen Konrad,David Anderson and Douglas(Stephanie)Anderson;5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both of his wives, Shirley and Alice. He honorably served in the U S Army 1st Cavalry and was a proud recipient of the World War l l Victory Medal.He worked for Shell Oil for many years and owned and operated several successful businesses in the Grand Rapids area. He was very involved with the Boy Scouts of America. He loved traveling the world, visiting 6 continents. 2 other loves were Dean Lake and feeding the birds. Cremation has taken place according to Bruce's wishes.Memorial service to be at a later date.
